PLOT:
The silk scarf is a short story about mrs Nebo, the wife of the man who is going to be the foreign minister in the new government in South Africa. Mrs Nebo is a women of medium height, with heavy loins and a smooth-skinned complexion. One day Ms Nebo goes on a shopping spree with her close friend Margaret on the oriental plaza in johannesburg. she went from shop to shop untill she came to Moghul Boutique where she was shown a silk scarf by a short gaunt-looking man. Mrs Nebo took the scarf and a hundred and ten rands' cheque to the cashier but the cashier rejected the cheque, reason being that they don't accept cheques and credit in their shop, only cash.Mrs Nebo really wanted the scarf and she does not have enough cash with her, so she went to the owner of the shop Mr Sakur demanding to be given the scarf in exchange with the cheque but mr shakur rejected the cheque. mrs nebo felt humiliated and her friend margaret started threatening mr shakur by telling him that mrs nebo is the wife of the foreign minister in the new government. after hearing all this, because mr sader never wanted their shops to be destroyed again like they were destroyed few years ago, he bought the scarf and give ut to mrs nebo as a gift. mrs nebo felt respected, she left the oriental plaza with a huge smile.

SETTINGS
Place: It happened in a foreign country on a beach that Jerry and his mother visited during the holiday.
Time: On the first morning of the holiday.

PLOT
Through the tunnel is a story that took place in an undisclosed location on a beach resort where Jerry and his mother holidayed on various occassions. The story disclosed two beaches, the safe beach where his mother spends her days and then a wild bay, where jerry goes on the second day by himself. while he was swimming, Jerry saw a group of older boys who are playing together. The boys started playing a more dangerous game, whereby they dive into a blue sea between rough, pointed rocks. They dived and come up, they swam around and hauled themselves up. Jerry tried to follow them but he can not swim, he tried swimming whereby he holds his mouth and nose to prevent water from going inside. Her mother was always worried about him as he comes home with a nose bleed. With the help of practising Jerry finally get to know how to swim and he went back to his country a changed man.

MAIN CHARACTER
Jerry

1. Is an eleven year old young english boy.
2. He wanted to be considered as an adult so he made friends with some older boys at the beach.
3. The older boys ignored him later after discovering that he is childish.
4. He is a jealous kind of person as he was jealous of the older boys as he watches them swim through a rock in which there is a narrow underwater gap.
5. he wanted to be equal with the older boys so he started practising swimming through the rock too.

what i experienced when creating my blog account

it was very hard for me to create this blog account because for you to create this blog you must have g-mail and i didn't have that.
